Возвращает или задает значение, указывающее тип выполняемой проверки.

ValidationType

Одно из значений перечисления ValidationType. Если это свойство не задано, то по умолчанию используется тип ValidationType.Auto.

Исключения

Задает значение свойства после вызова Read.

Примечание

Класс XmlValidatingReader устарел в платформа .NET Framework 2.0. Проверяющий XmlReader экземпляр можно создать с помощью XmlReaderSettings класса и Create метода. Дополнительные сведения см. в подразделе "Примечания" на справочной странице XmlReader.

Это свойство должно быть задано перед первым вызовом Read. Если задать для этого свойства значение ValidationType.None, создается средство чтения без проверки.

Если для проверки требуются определения типов внешних документов (DTD) или схемы, XmlResolver используется.
