Remarks
Unlike the Objective-C version of this method, there is no need to probe whether the operating system supports this selector. The MonoTouch binding takes care of this automatically. When running on older versions of iOS this returns UIUserInterfaceIdiom.Phon, in newer versions of iOS, this probes the operating system to return the proper idiom.
This can be used from a background thread.
