Temp_Path Initialization Variable

Specifies the folder in which Visual SourceSafe stores temporary files. The folder is a subdirectory in the Visual SourceSafe directory that contains the Srcsafe.ini file.

Syntax

Temp_Path = <temporary folder>

Remarks

You can set this variable in your Ss.ini file directly or in Visual SourceSafe Explorer. In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, use the SourceSafe Options dialog box, General tab. Specify the folder in the Folder for temporary files box.

Examples

Creates a temporary folder called Temp:

Temp_Path = Temp
