Резервное копирование и восстановление баз данных и журналов транзакций из копий

В SMO классы Backup и Restore являются служебными классами, которые предоставляют средства для выполнения конкретных задач резервного копирования и восстановления из копий. Объект Backup представляет конкретную задачу резервного копирования, которая требуется вместо объекта Microsoft SQL Server на экземпляре сервера.

При потере или повреждении данных резервная копия полностью или частично должна быть восстановлена. Частичное восстановление использует коллекцию FileGroupCollection для разбиения восстанавливаемых данных. При резервном восстановлении журнала транзакций, с помощью свойства ToPointInTime объекта Restore можно восстановить данные до определенного момента времени. Также данные можно проверить с помощью метода SqlVerify. Рекомендуемой процедурой резервного копирования является проверка целостности резервной копии путем выполнения операции восстановления и проверки данных в базе данных на регулярной основе.

Как и объект Backup, объект Restore не нужно создавать с помощью метода Create, так как он не представляет никакой из объектов экземпляра SQL Server. Объект Restore является набором свойств и методов, используемых для восстановления базы данных.
