Starts an asynchronous operation to discover Windows-based computers.

Parameters

• discoveryConfigurations
  Type: System.Collections.Generic.IList<WindowsDiscoveryConfiguration>

  Information used to configure the discovery.

• callback
  Type: System.AsyncCallback

  An AsyncCallback delegate that references a user-defined method to call when the discovery is complete.

• state
  Type: System.Object

  A user-defined object that you can use to pass information about the state of the asynchronous operation to the method specified in the callback parameter.

Return Value

Type: System.IAsyncResult

Returns an IAsyncResult instance that you can use to check the status of the asynchronous operation.
