Registers a task provider with the task list.

Parameters

pProvider
Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsTaskProvider
[in] Pointer to the IVsTaskProvider interface.

pdwProviderCookie
Type: System.UInt32%
[out] Pointer to an ID for the task provider specified by pProvider.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

Any task provider that wants to make use of the task list must call this method.
