Predefined keys (Industry 8.1)

Keyboard Filter predefines certain key combinations in order to make it easy to block common Windows shortcut keys. Embedded Lockdown Manager (ELM) groups predefined keys into categories of related behavior, so that you can more easily lock down specific behaviors.
Actions
On this window pane in ELM, you can use the following commands:
- Block all keys
Blocks all key combinations in the current category.
- Allow all keys
Unblocks all key combinations in the current category.
- Block this key
Blocks the currently selected key combination.
- Allow this blocked key
Unblocks the currently selected blocked key combination.
Predefined key categories
Predefined key combinations are grouped into the following categories:

Accessibility Keys |
Keys that affect Ease of Use options. |
Application Keys |
Keys that affect application behavior. |
Browser Keys |
Keys that affect Internet browser functionality. |
Extended Shell Keys |
Extended keyboard keys that initiate commonly used functionality, such as launch mail, launch media player, or sleep mode. |
Media Keys |
Keys that access media player functionality. |
Modifier Keys |
Keys that are used as modifiers in key combinations. The modifier keys consist of Alt, Ctrl, Shift, and the Windows logo key. |
Security Keys |
Keys that affect system security, such as Ctrl+Alt+Delete. |
Shell Keys |
Keys that affect the behavior of the Windows shell. |
All Keys |
All predefined keys. |
