Using Startup, Shutdown, Logon, and Logoff Scripts

Group Policy allows you to associate one or more scripting files to four triggered events:
Computer startup
Computer shutdown
User logon-
User logoff
You can author scripts in any language supported by the client computer, with Windows Script Host (WSH) supported languages and command files being the most common. WSH languages include VBScript and Jscript.
