XmlDictionaryReader.CreateBinaryReader Method (array<Byte[], Int32, Int32, IXmlDictionary, XmlDictionaryReaderQuotas)

Creates an instance of XmlDictionaryReader that can read .NET Binary XML Format.

Parameters

  • buffer
    Type: array<System.Byte[]
    The buffer from which to read.
  • offset
    Type: System.Int32
    The starting position from which to read in buffer.
  • count
    Type: System.Int32
    The number of bytes that can be read from buffer.

Return Value

Type: System.Xml.XmlDictionaryReader
An instance of XmlDictionaryReader.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

buffer is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

offset is less than zero or greater than the buffer length.

ArgumentOutOfRangeException

count is less than zero or greater than the buffer length minus the offset.

Remarks

Other XmlDictionaryReader properties are set to default values or nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
