XNamespace Implicit Conversion (String to XNamespace)

Converts a string containing a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) to an XNamespace.

This API is not CLS-compliant.

Parameters

Return Value

Type: System.Xml.Linq.XNamespace
An XNamespace constructed from the URI string.

Examples

The following example shows the initialization of an XNamespace variable by assigning a string to it.

'add the following line to the the Imports section:
'Imports <xmlns="https://www.adventure-works.com">
Dim output As New StringBuilder
Dim aw As XNamespace = GetXmlNamespace()
output.Append(aw)
output.Append(Environment.NewLine)

OutputTextBlock.Text = output.ToString()
StringBuilder output = new StringBuilder();
XNamespace aw = "https://www.adventure-works.com";
output.Append(aw);

OutputTextBlock.Text = output.ToString();
