Glyphs.FontRenderingEmSize Property

Gets or sets the font size used for rendering the glyphs.

Property Value

Type: System.Double
The font size used for rendering the glyphs. The default is 0.

Remarks

Dependency property identifier field: FontRenderingEmSizeProperty

An em is a typographical unit of measurement. In Silverlight, an em is equal to the current font size.

NoteNote:

The default value for FontRenderingEmSize is 0. Therefore, in order to render anything with Glyphs, you should specify a FontRenderingEmSize either in XAML or code. This is in contrast to TextBlock, whose default font size is 11 pixels.
