RSAPKCS1SignatureFormatter.CreateSignature Method (array<Byte[])

Creates the RSA PKCS #1 signature for the specified data.

Parameters

  • rgbHash
    Type: array<System.Byte[]
    The data to be signed.

Return Value

Type: array<System.Byte[]
The digital signature for rgbHash.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
CryptographicUnexpectedOperationException

The key is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The hash algorithm is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
ArgumentNullException

The rgbHash parameter is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

You must specify a key and a hash algorithm before calling this method.
