Bu örnek, Windows Presentation Foundation'daki (WPF) yükseklikle ilgili dört özellik arasındaki işleme davranışı farklarını görsel olarak gösterir.

FrameworkElement sınıfı, bir öğenin yükseklik özelliklerini açıklayan dört özelliği kullanıma sunar. Bu dört özellik çakışabilir ve bunu yaptıklarında öncelik alan değer şu şekilde belirlenir: MinHeight değeri MaxHeight değerinden önceliklidir ve bu da Height değerinden önceliklidir. Dördüncü bir özellik olan ActualHeight, salt okunurdur ve düzen işlemiyle etkileşimler sonucunda belirlenen gerçek yüksekliği raporlar.

Aşağıdaki Genişletilebilir Uygulama Biçimlendirme Dili (XAML) örnekleri, Rectangle öğesini (rect1) Canvas'nin alt öğesi olarak çizer. Rectangle, ListBoxve MinHeightözellik değerlerini temsil eden bir dizi MaxHeight öğesi kullanarak Height yükseklik özelliklerini değiştirebilirsiniz. Bu şekilde, her özelliğin önceliği görsel olarak görüntülenir.

Aşağıdaki arka planda kod örnekleri, SelectionChanged olayının tetiklediği olayları işler. Her işleyici ListBoxgirdisini alır, değeri Doubleolarak ayrıştırır ve değeri belirtilen yükseklikle ilgili özelliğe uygular. Yükseklik değerleri de bir dizeye dönüştürülür ve çeşitli TextBlock öğelerine yazılır (bu öğelerin tanımı seçili XAML'de gösterilmez).
