Standard Text Codes Window
Specifies text that you use often, such as "Shipping Charge" or "Monthly Depreciation", and assigns a code to each text. Then, when you enter the code in the No. field on a document line where the Type field is blank, the standard text in question is inserted in the Description field on the line.
A standard text can be part of a customer's address, a posting text used in the general journal, or anything else that is used repeatedly.
Standard texts can be set up as single-line texts or extended texts (covering multiple lines).
