User.IsMember Method

Verifies whether the database user is a member of the specified role.

Parameters

  • role
    A String value that specifies the role.

Return Value

A Boolean value that specifies whether the database user is a member of the role. If True, the database user is a member of the role. If False (default), the database user is not a member of the role.

Remarks

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
