Service.Alter Method

Updates any Service object property changes on an instance of SQL Server.

Remarks

The Alter method updates any changes that have been made to the Service object's properties since the Service object was created or since the last ALTER statement. The modifications are combined and sent to the instance of SQL Server in a single network trip to the instance of SQL Server.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
