The PhysicalPartitionCollection type exposes the following members.

Properties

  Name Description
Public property Count Gets the number of objects in the referenced collection. (Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.)
Public property IsSynchronized Gets the Boolean property value that specifies whether access to the collection is synchronized and therefore thread-safe. (Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.)
Public property Item Gets a PhysicalPartition object in the collection by index number.
Public property Parent Gets the SqlSmoObject object that is the parent of the PhysicalPartitionCollection object.
Public property SyncRoot Gets an object that can be used to synchronize access to the collection. (Inherited from SmoCollectionBase.)

Remarks

A PhysicalPartitionCollection object can be used to gain access to a set of physical partitions. You can use the Item(Int32) property to return a specific PhysicalPartition object.
