UserDefinedDataType.Collation Property

Gets the collation assigned to the user-defined data type.

Property Value

Type: System.String
A String value that specifies the collation used by the user-defined data type.

Remarks

The default collation is defined at a Server object level; however, individual columns and user-defined data types can have specific collations. A table that contains columns in languages with different alphabets require different collations on different columns, for example.
