Message Queuing COM Support

Message Queuing provides a set of COM objects for developing Message Queuing applications using COM development tools. These tools include, but are not limited to, Microsoft® Visual Basic® (version 4.0 or later), Microsoft Visual C++ ®, and Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript).

The Message Queuing COM objects provide the most common Message Queuing API functionalities needed for developing Message Queuing applications. These include queue lookup, queue management, message management, and queue administration.

Message Queuing COM applications can be created using any development tool that supports COM objects, including Microsoft® Visual Basic® version 4.0 (32 bit), Microsoft® Visual Basic® version 5.0, Microsoft® Office (95 and 97), Delphi, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Microsoft® Active Server Pages, as well as others.
