New ways to do familiar tasks
The following table lists common tasks for configuring telephony. The user interface for performing these tasks is different in this version of Windows from the way it was in Windows NT 4.0.

For this task, there is a user interface difference between Windows 2000 and Windows XP and the Windows Server 2003 family. If you have telephony servers or clients that run Windows 2000, use the Tcmsetup command. For more information, see Specify telephony servers on a client computer. If you have telephony servers that run Windows Server 2003 and telephony clients that run Windows XP or a Windows Server 2003 operating system, open Phone and Modem Options.
