Writes out a formatted string and a new line, using the same semantics as Format.

Parameters
- format
Type: System.String
The formatting string.
- arg0
Type: System.Object
The object to write into the format string.
- arg1
Type: System.Object
The object to write into the format string.
Exceptions
Exception | Condition |
---|---|
ArgumentNullException | format is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). |
ObjectDisposedException | The TextWriter is closed. |
IOException | An I/O error occurs. |
FormatException | The format specification in format is invalid. -or- The number indicating an argument to be formatted is less than zero, or larger than or equal to the number of provided objects to be formatted. |
Remarks
This method does not search the specified String for individual newline characters (hexadecimal 0x000a) and replace them with NewLine.
If a specified object is not referenced in the format string, it is ignored.
