Remarks
This constructor interprets the year, month, and day parameters as a year, month, and day in the Gregorian calendar. To instantiate a DateTime value by using the year, month, and day in another calendar, call the DateTime(Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Calendar, DateTimeKind) constructor.
For applications in which a limited degree of time zone awareness is important, you can use the corresponding DateTimeOffset constructor.
Examples
The following example uses the DateTime(Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, DateTimeKind) constructor to instantiate a DateTime value.
Dim date1 As New Date(2010, 8, 18, 16, 32, 18, 500, DateTimeKind.Local)
outputBlock.Text += String.Format("{0:M/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss.fff tt} {1}", date1, date1.Kind) & vbCrLf
' The example displays the following output:
' 8/18/2010 4:32:18.500 PM Local
DateTime date1 = new DateTime(2010, 8, 18, 16, 32, 18, 500,
DateTimeKind.Local);
outputBlock.Text += String.Format("{0:M/dd/yyyy h:mm:ss.fff tt} {1}", date1, date1.Kind) + "\n";
// The example displays the following output:
// 8/18/2010 4:32:18.500 PM Local
