IObjectContextInfo2::GetApplicationInstanceId method (comsvcs.h)

Retrieves the identifier of the application instance of the current object context. This information is useful when using COM+ Application Recycling, for example.

Syntax

HRESULT GetApplicationInstanceId(
  [out] GUID *pGuid
);

Parameters

[out] pGuid

A GUID that identifies the application instance.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, E_FAIL, and S_OK.
