Microsoft support lifecycle

The Microsoft Support Lifecycle website provides consistent and predictable guidelines about providing product support availability when a product is released and throughout the life of the product.

The Tools support lifecycle is defined as follows:
The product receives a minimum of 12 months notification before the support ends.
