delayed capture

Collected network traffic that is stored in a capture file. A network packet provider (NPP) performs a delayed capture. Parsers and experts use delayed captures. See also capture, and real-time capture

destination address

The address of the computer to which data is sent.

detail pane

The pane in the Network Monitor frame window that displays detailed information about the protocol properties. By default, the pane appears in the center of the window.

display filter

A filter used to limit the amount of captured data that is displayed in the frame viewer window. A display filter is a postfix stack of objects that can be an operator, value, or property.
