ISCardLocate interface
[The ISCardLocate interface is available for use in the operating systems specified in the Requirements section. It is not available for use in Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and later, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and subsequent versions of the operating system. The Smart Card Modules provide similar functionality.]
The ISCardLocate interface provides services for locating a smart card by its name.
This interface can display the smart card user interface if it is required.
The following scenario shows a typical use of the ISCardLocate interface. The ISCardLocate interface is used to build an application protocol data unit (APDU).
To locate a specific card using its name
- Create an ISCardLocate interface.
- Call ConfigureCardNameSearch to search for a smart card name.
- Call FindCard to search for the smart card.
- Interpret the results.
- Release the ISCardLocate interface.
