Cloud Numerics at Progressive F# Tutorial in NYC on June 6th

We are giving a presentation about Microsoft Codename “Cloud Numerics” for F# users at Skills Matter Progressive F# Tutorial that takes place in NYC on June 5th and 6th. The tutorial covers many exciting F# topics; our presentation is on Wednesday 6th at 9:30am ET.

You may recall we posted about using Cloud Numerics and F# for distributed computing on Windows Azure a while back. In the tutorial we’ll give hands-on examples of using libraries for math, linear algebra and statistics, and present demos of data analysis using Cloud Numerics and F# on Azure.

This is a great opportunity to learn about Cloud Numerics; don’t worry if you’re not an Azure user yet. You can try out the hands-on examples with distributed arrays and libraries using your local development environment.

Update: Code examples for our tutorial are available for download.

Hi I signed up for cloud numerics but did not have time to work on it. I am now getting to it but it seems that Cloud Numerics does not install for the latest version of the Azure SDK (1.7).Can you suggest a work around? I need 1.7 for other VS2012 Azure work. Thanks,Faisal
