We are happy to announce that an update (version 1.1) to the ‘Integration Solution for AX Projects & CRM’ is available for download from Partner Source:

Highlights of the update include:

• Works with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013/CRM Online. Takes advantage of new UI paradigms such as the Quote Product inline grid
• Project category list price is synchronized to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013
• Fixed blocking issues related to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 changes in CU7, R3
• Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Project to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 map setup program enhanced/stabilized
• Documentation revised with feedback from customers and partners
• Category ID/Product ID clash issue resolved with better design (removed the need for hotfix work in this area)

    I cannot import the IntegrationSolutionForAXProjectsAndCRM_Version1_1.zip into CRM - it fails on the entity quote.

    Michelle, thanks for using the integration solution. Can you please add more details about the error and which version of CRM you are using and whether it is onprem or online, thanks!

    Michelle, It happened with me. To resolve that i oppened a call to microsoft and they found the especific attribute that was making this conflict.Then, they took out this attribut for me and send me a new integrationSolutionforAxProjectsandCRM_version1_1.zip without the attriubute. I hope helped u

    We are having trouble Installing the Maps Setup for the Connector. First we had problems with Installation Directory trought the "IntegrationSolutionForAXProjectsAndCRMSetup.exe" installer, so we ran it with CMD, with the especific path... Further we had problems with the folders structure on the InstallMaps code: First: "The file C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft DynamicsMicrosoft Dynamics AdapterAdaptersMicrosoft.Dynamics.Integration.Adapters.Ax2012ObjectConfigBAUER017_8101DynamicsConnectorDefaultServices_ProjQuotationLineService.config could not be found Installation has failed" - it seems that it is missing a "" between the folders "Microsoft Dynamics Adapter" and "Adapters". Second: "The file C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft DynamicsMicrosoft Dynamics AdapterAdaptersMicrosoft.Dynamics.Integration.Adapters.Crm2011ObjectConfig\DynamicsCRMDesenvolvimentoAxsi_QuotelinedetailnewObjectProvider.config could not be found Installation has failed"

  • it seems that we have "" between the folders"ObjectConfig\DynamicsCRM..." It is not possible to install the Maps templates trought that scripts... Could someone help? Thank you.

    @Filipe - have you run the configuration utility for AX 2012 within Connector?
