Declare war on bad documentation

Have you ever seen some documentation where you thought "that bit's not right" but never decided to report the error because it was too much trouble? Next time, think of all the time you will be saving all the people who - like me - don't necessarily know that anything is wrong.

Like the DNS Round Robin testing I've been doing for a while now - if I'd know that Microsoft (in its infinite wisdom) had changed the registry value MaxCacheEntryTtlLimit to MaxCacheTtl between Windows 2000 and Windows 2003, I could have saved HOURS of fruitless work.

Of course, this new value was noted in

318803 How to Disable Client-Side DNS Caching in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003

but no effort was made to go through the KB articles that used the old value to make sure they were updated.

So if you DO see something wrong in a KB - think of those less worldy wise than yourself, scroll down to the bottom of the article and feedback.
