I just bought a ticket to BlogHer '06.

Are any other softie bloggers or readers of softie blogs going? Leave a comment or trackback here if you want to get in touch.

I'm also thinking about proposing a "Room of Her Own" topic - women tech bloggers? Creating & running a blog like EHLO? Not sure yet. I haven't given a talk since MEC 2002 and I really miss public speaking.

    I was thinking about a personal-blog-vs-work-blog topic already, but that would really just be a subset of the privacy question, you're right. That could be an interesting one to explore in more depth.

    That example is a little scary... but also kind of cool. At Tech-Ed a couple of years ago I had a bunch of people stop by the Exchange booth not to ask me questions but just to meet me because they read this blog, I got a huge kick out of that.
