Hi, I came back with another performance test.

Have you wondered which VM you should choose if you have any compute intensive workloads?

Would Azure VM really deliver the performance I expect when I scale up the VM my workload is runnning?

This is absolutely not Microsoft recommended performance measuring and this is not the overall performance your workload would have as the real performance is complex combination of Storage, Networking, and Compute matrix.

If you want the most powerful VM among the top three public cloud vendors, you could have the idea. G5 is the most powerful VM from compute perspevtive though AWS provides 36 vCPU VM (Actually, it has 18 logical cores against G5 which has 32 logical cores)

Test OS: Ubuntu 14.10
