Media Foundation Transforms (MFTs)

A Media Foundation Transform (MFT) is a COM object that implements the IMFTransform interface from the Microsoft Media Foundation SDK. An MFT is a data transform object that is used as a node in a Media Foundation topology.

All of the Windows Media Audio and Video codec and DSP objects implement IMFTransform.
