This section describes the interfaces that unmanaged hosts can use to integrate the common language runtime (CLR) into their applications.

The hosting interfaces that are supported for the CLR in the .NET Framework versions 1.0 and 1.1 are not supported in later versions of the .NET Framework. Mixing and matching these interfaces could cause unexpected behavior. Because of the significant differences between the hosting interfaces, the documentation is organized in two subsections. |
