Windows Server 2008 和 Windows Server 2003 为您提供运行安全配置向导 (SCW) 的选项，以强化您的服务器并减少攻击面。除非您带 Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 模板运行 SCW，否则安装或运行 Configuration Manager 2007 站点系统所需的某些关键服务将被禁用。如果您已经在服务器上运行 SCW，则安装 Configuration Manager 2007 模板，然后再次运行 SCW 以允许 SCW 检测并启用 Configuration Manager 2007 服务器角色所需的端口和服务。
