Managing Add-ins Overview
Applies To: System Center 2012 SP1
You can install and uninstall add-ins for Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) through the console. However, before you can install any add-in, they must be packaged. An add-in package is a .zip file that contains the add-in manifest file and any other required files, such as Microsoft .NET assemblies that are referenced by the manifest file. To update add-ins, repackage them with the latest files, and then reinstall the package.
Tip
If your add-in package contains an assembly that you want to debug, include the PDB files in the add-in package.
