因为恶意软件被不断地开发出来，所以 Endpoint Protection 将依据最新定义，确定正在试图安装、运行或更改计算机设置的软件是否为可能不需要的软件或恶意软件。Endpoint Protection 将自动更新计算机上的病毒定义和间谍软件定义。 如果这些定义已经有七天以上的时间未进行更新（例如，您一个星期未打开计算机），Endpoint Protection 将通知您这些定义已过期。
