VCCodeDelegate.AddBase Method
Adds an item to the list of inherited objects.
Namespace: Microsoft.VisualStudio.VCCodeModel
Assembly: Microsoft.VisualStudio.VCCodeModel (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.VCCodeModel.dll)
Syntax
声明
Function AddBase ( _
Base As Object, _
Position As Object _
) As CodeElement
用法
Dim instance As VCCodeDelegate
Dim Base As Object
Dim Position As Object
Dim returnValue As CodeElement
returnValue = instance.AddBase(Base, Position)
CodeElement AddBase(
Object Base,
Object Position
)
CodeElement^ AddBase(
Object^ Base,
Object^ Position
)
function AddBase(
Base : Object,
Position : Object
) : CodeElement
Parameters
Base
Type: System.ObjectRequired. The class from which to derive implementation.
Position
Type: System.ObjectOptional. Default = 0. The code element after which to add the new element. If the value is a CodeElement, then the new element is added immediately after it.
If the value is a Long data type, then AddBase indicates the element after which to add the new element.
Because collections begin their count at 1, passing 0 indicates that the new element should be placed at the beginning of the collection. A value of -1 means the element should be placed at the end.
Return Value
Type: CodeElement
A CodeElement object.
Remarks
The correctness of the arguments is determined by the language behind the code model. AddBase fails for Visual J# classes if there is already a declared base class. You must first remove the existing one with CodeType.RemoveBase.
AddBase returns a CodeElement object rather than a CodeType to accommodate Visual C++, and the Kind() of the returned object is vsCMElementVCBase() for the implementation of Visual C++.
