IViewRowset

IViewRowset enables the consumer to create or apply view operations when opening a rowset.

When to Implement

Providers that can do simple operations, such as filtering and sorting when opening rowsets, support IViewRowset.

When to Call

Consumers call IViewRowset to open a rowset with simple operations such as filtering and sorting applied. The consumer requests IID_IViewRowset when calling a method that returns a rowset to create a view object, applies operations to that view, and then calls IViewRowset::OpenViewRowset to open the rowset with those operations applied.

Method	Description
GetSpecification	Returns the object that created the view.
OpenViewRowset	Opens the requested rowset using the specified view.
