Outlook Hotmail Connector Beta Available in 7 Languages
Microsoft just released the latest Beta version of Outlook Hotmail Connector in 7 different languages.
Outlook Hotmail Connector allows you to manage your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail, calendar and contacts from within Outlook. This new version provides a more reliable authentication system and improved synchronization.

- Integrated Send/Receive experience with other Outlook accounts.
- Connection status integrated in the Outlook Status Bar.

And STILL no task synch?? For years one has the impression that Outlook Connector is treated incredibly badly within MS, only ever getting the smallest improvements. I've given up years ago on it because there were so many bugs and it never really worked (incredibly nice if e.g. you move items from your inbox into the hotmail inbox and then it deletes a certain fraction of these forever!). I had hoped to get a signal at some point from MS that they take this product serious, mainly in the form that serious features are added. Seems not to be the case this round once more. Very disappointed.Anonymous

OLC significantly improves over synchronization issues users might have experienced in the past. As for specific features, we see OLC as constantly expanding the interconnectivity between Outlook and Windows Live, both in robustness and in scope. Users should keep looking for addition to its capabilities in the future.
