使用者可以在工作流程設計工具中修改使用者設計的主題，但無法修改該內容中的預設或系統主題。

當使用者以滑鼠右鍵按一下工作流程設計介面，然後選取 [選取自訂主題 ...] 時，就會顯示 [選項] 對話方塊。 預設和系統類別會列在 [選取範圍] 視窗中的 [ 標準主題 ] 標題底下，而使用者定義的類別（包含使用者所建立的任何主題）則列在 [ 使用者定義的主題 ] 標題之下。

主題定義背景 (Background)、前景、文字、圖示和其他用來呈現工作流程設計介面上工作流程的樣式。
