名稱必須是 NCName (無冒號名稱，) 如 World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XML 命名空間規格中所定義。 當 XML 檔根據架構進行驗證時，檔中的每個屬性都會根據 attribute 架構中的元素進行驗證。 attribute具有 name 符合檔中屬性之本機名稱的專案，可用來驗證該屬性。 Name和 RefName 屬性互斥。
