Writes trace information, a data object and event information to the listener-specific output.

Parameters
eventCache
Type: System.Diagnostics.TraceEventCacheType: System.Diagnostics.TraceEventCache
A TraceEventCache object that contains the current process ID, thread ID, and stack trace information.
source
Type: System.StringType: System.String
A name used to identify the output, typically the name of the application that generated the trace event.
eventType
Type: System.Diagnostics.TraceEventTypeType: System.Diagnostics.TraceEventType
One of the TraceEventType values specifying the type of event that has caused the trace.
id
Type: System.Int32Type: System.Int32
A numeric identifier for the event.
data
Type: System.ObjectType: System.Object
The trace data to emit.
Remarks
Warning
This API is not supported in Azure SDK versions 2.5 and higher. Instead, use the diagnostics.wadcfg XML configuration file. For more information, see Collect Logging Data by Using Azure Diagnostics.
