How to Delete a Configuration Manager NAP Policy to Stop NAP Evaluation in Network Access Protection
You can stop a software update in Configuration Manager 2007 being included in Network Access Protection (NAP) evaluation with either of the following two procedures:
Delete the Configuration Manager NAP Policy that contains the software update included in NAP evaluation.
Deselect the Enable NAP evaluation option in the software update properties.
To delete the Configuration Manager NAP policy that contains the software update included in NAP evaluation:
In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Computer Management / Network Access Protection / Policies.
Select the NAP policy that contains the software update you no longer want included in NAP evaluation.
Press Delete, and click OK to confirm.
To deselect the Enable NAP evaluation option in the software update properties:
Locate the software update from the Software Updates node.
Right-click the software update, and click Properties.
Click the Network Access Protection tab.
Deselect the option Enable NAP evaluation.
Click OK.
