Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 relies on several accounts that are created and maintained by the operating system but are never actually configured in the Configuration Manager 2007 console, for example the Local System account which is the security principal for the operating system. When you install Configuration Manager 2007, you must use an existing Windows account that will gain full rights to the Configuration Manager 2007 console after installation is complete.
