How to Remove a Package from a Distribution Point
When you choose to remove a package from a distribution point, Configuration Manager 2007 removes all package data from the specified distribution point. You can remove a package from a single distribution point to which it has been distributed or from any number of such distribution points. If an advertised program no longer has any distribution points available, Configuration Manager 2007 removes the advertisement from clients.
To remove a package from a distribution point, you must have Distribute permission for the Package security object type or for the specific package instance. For more information about security permissions, see Classes and Instances for Object Security in Configuration Manager.
注意
You cannot delete a package from a distribution point if a user has locked an associated network file.
