How to Configure a Protected Distribution Point
Protecting a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 site system means that clients outside of the protected boundaries will be unable to access the distribution point or state migration point roles on that site system. Protection is applied to the entire site system, not just to the properties of the site role. However, protection has no effect on any site system roles except distribution points and state migration points.
To configure a protected distribution point
In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager / Site Database / Site Management / <site code> - <site name> / Site Settings / Site Systems.
Expand the site system server that is configured with the distribution point role that you want to protect.
In the results pane, right-click ConfigMgr site system, and then select Properties.
Click Enable this site system as a protected site system.
Click Select Boundaries.
In the Boundaries dialog box, click New.
In the New Boundaries dialog box, select a boundary from the list, and then click OK.
注意
Boundaries appear in the list only if they have been configured for the site and have not already been assigned as protected boundaries to another site system.
Click OK twice.
