[This documentation is for preview only, and is subject to change in later releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]
Performs a linear interpolation between two 4-D vectors.
Namespace: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX
Assembly: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX (in Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Shared Function Lerp ( _
left As Vector4, _
right As Vector4, _
interpolater As Single _
) As Vector4
'Usage
Dim left As Vector4
Dim right As Vector4
Dim interpolater As Single
Dim returnValue As Vector4
returnValue = Vector4.Lerp(left, right, _
interpolater)
public static Vector4 Lerp(
Vector4 left,
Vector4 right,
float interpolater
)
public:
static Vector4 Lerp(
Vector4 left,
Vector4 right,
float interpolater
)
static member Lerp :
left:Vector4 *
right:Vector4 *
interpolater:float32 -> Vector4
Parameters
- left
Type: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Vector4
Source Vector4 structure.
- right
Type: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Vector4
Source Vector4 structure.
- interpolater
Type: System.Single
Parameter that linearly interpolates between the vectors.
Return Value
Type: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Vector4
A Vector4 structure that is the result of the linear interpolation.
Remarks
This method performs the linear interpolation based on the following formula:
left + interpolater(right - left)
