Setting Whether Users Can Post Files in Chat Rooms
上次修改主題的時間: 2009-02-27
By default, users can post files along with the messages they post. You can prevent users from posting files in two ways:
- Preventing all users from posting files within a certain category or chat room.
- Preventing a certain user from posting files in any chat room. The user cannot post files in any chat room, even a chat room that allows file posting.
注意
Federated users cannot post or download files in chat rooms.
To prevent all users from posting files within a certain category or chat room
In the Chat Rooms list, click the category or chat room.
In File uploads, select No.
Click Apply.
If you are editing a category, this change immediately applies to any subcategories and chat rooms within it that inherit the File uploads setting from this category.
To prevent a certain user from posting files in any chat room
On the File menu, click Manage Users.
In the Find Users and User Groups area, in the Search For box, type the name or part of the name of the user, and then click Search.
In the list of names that match your query, click the name you want, and then click Manage.
In the Manage User dialog box, click Permissions.
Note the settings on the page, because you may need to reset them later in the procedure. Clear the Inherit check box.
Clear the Can upload files check box.
If the Is User Admin or Is Channel Admin check boxes were selected before you cleared the Inherit check box, select them again.
Click OK.
