同步 I/O 意謂方法被封鎖直到 I/O 作業完成為止,而方法才接著傳回它的資料。使用非同步 I/O,使用者可以呼叫 BeginRead。主執行緒可以繼續進行其他工作,而使用者稍後即能夠處理資料。同樣的,多個 I/O 要求可以同時暫止。
