IMultiLanguage::GetLcidFromRfc1766 method
Gets the locale identifier value (LCID) that corresponds to the given RFC1766-conforming name.
Syntax

[in] BSTR bstrRfc1766
);
Parameters
pLocale [out]
The address of the buffer to receive the LCID.bstrRfc1766 [in]
The RFC1766-conforming name that the caller wants information about.
Return value
Returns one of the following values.
Return code | Description |
---|---|
S_OK | Success. |
S_FALSE | The returned LCID matches the primary language of the RFC1766-conforming name only. |
E_FAIL | The method cannot get the information from the database or the system. |
E_INVALIDARG | One or more of the arguments are invalid. |
Remarks
A client uses this method to translate a human-readable locale name to a Windows-defined LCID.
